Mitra reached out to me a while back because she wanted a few new head shots. I was thrilled to set up a shoot with her. She is, legit, one of the most passionate people I know (she's also incredibly funny), so I jumped at the privilege of doing a shoot with her.

She is a powerful person whose work is permeated by her love of justice and equity. I jokingly (read: seriously) told her that I'll shoot some photos for her campaign if she ever decides to run for office.
